Forums - Gaming Discussion - My XBox 360 vs PS3 comparison (mostly technical)

Another interesting read, this time from Insomniac regarding their new igPhysics system.

Introducing SPU shaders:

Benefits of SPU Shaders to igPhysics
● Pipeline well defined and completely SPU-driven
● SPU processing completely asynchronous
● Data well-organized and well-defined.
● No (or minimal) PPU intervention

The RSX is considered to be faster, but the Xenos is often considered to be more flexible.

This pic would probably have been a good addition to the original post:

@ Omac

That article was linked to within this thread before. Although parts in it are worth reading, it's also inaccurate and includes obsolete information.

For example Xenon's peak performance. For example initial SPE tests, later more optimised tests showed multiple higher yields, I already addressed this and other things regarding this article.

Well I'm kinda new here and I'm not going to look for every post you have made. I still think you are wrong on the subject. Why don't you find me some article on what you preach and post about them so I can look at it. I think you are trying to weasel out of the subject at hand.
