I don't really want an argument, I'm just saying i didn't like the way MikeB was talked to (typed?!) Even though he was joking and it wasn't a very good joke kowneicki did kind of blow his top I think.

It happens

This agreement is the way all such different understandings should end! We have set an example ! :P

^Lol, I hope so

With regard to the Killzone 2 turmoil. To quote myself:

Long before the PS3 launched:

"It will probably take some time before developers manage to get the most out of this platform, as has for example also been the case with the classic Amiga chipsets."

2007:

"SPE usage doesn't per se make a good game, neither not using them per se makes a bad game", but:

"IMO don't make these games genuine PS3 games to judge the power of the platform on, but should rather be viewed as far from optimal ports."

IMO Killzone 2 for this generation of consoles is of similar effect as Shadow of the Beast was with regard to the Amiga vs ST wars. Shadow of the Beast was one of the fist games to really clearly show off the Amiga's added potential vs the ST (of course there have been plenty of even more impressive Amiga games after this and there were impressive Amiga games before that as well).

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

MMM the good old days of comparing systems.

I'll wait for 8X Blu-ray drives. 2X is a joke.

@ Guiding Light - my earlier post was to MikeB not you, I was saying he hadn't addressed your points not vice versa

Currently playing:  PC:  Wolfenstein  PS2:  Final Fantasy X  PS3: All-Pro Football 2K8 Wii:  Force Unleashed  PSP:  God of War: CoO Xbox 360:  Gears of War 2

Most anticipated game:  Dragon Age Origins (PC)

x2 Blu-ray a Joke, lol. Yet  x2 Blu-ray  in PS3 Reads slightly faster than the 360's x8 DL DVD drive. Also cos Blu-ray isn't required to spin fast in  order to have fast read speeds, so noise levels are very quiet, when compared to the noisey as hell 360 drive.

The amount of game data is irrelevent, ALL 360 games are on double layer disc.

It's not, that's why many stuck to exactly 3.4 GBs of data. The copy protection, etc part is probably dual layered data, but the evidence is IMO pretty apparent that various early games used up only 1 layer of data.

I won't call you names like you do, I think I'm too level-headed for that, we are discussing consoles and technology here. But you're on my ignore list from now on.

 Probably?

You mean you don't know and are just randomly guessing...very amuesing.

Not to mention if that is true then it proves that all 360 games are on dual layer discs which is my whole argument.
