One of the most recent ways to cheat for an achievement is in Gears of War 2. A good number of people have glitched their way to the top rank, even though it would take almost forever by conventional means to get the achievement. I don't think any developer should be putting in achievements that take time rather than skill or devotion to get.

I would be afraid to cheat in case they banned me and set my score back to zero.

There is actually cheats on a game I am presently playing but I wont use them.

I am using a walkthrough though to find the Kilroys.

Edit: I actually think the buzz of getting them youself is more rewarding.

I dont usually, but i did in Fifa 08. Theres all these challanges you need to complete like score 6 goals with 6 different players on legendary.

In the menu you can set a teams positions, so i set the other teams positions so they had 9 forwards and only 1 defender. It made it really easy to score.

But once i got the acheivements, i realised how pointless it was if i wasnt going to actually do it properly, so that was the last time i ever did.

Kind of... I didn't really have the time, so to beat Gears of War 2 on the hardest difficulty, I was playing as player 1 on casual, though when my brother was free he took control of player 1, while player 2 played on hardcore, but I could have beat it on my own, it was just a matter of saving time

I did download Dash for Destruction, which feels like cheating, but it was quite fun for the half and hour it took to complete

I haven't actually cheated properly, but with Infinite Undiscovery's play for 40 hours achievement, I did leave my Xbox on, though I still haven't finished that game

I always use guides, I don't really want to waste time, because I have a lot of games to play!!

Just earned 155 gamer points with that game.

Mad game.

Yeah I've cheated some games. King Kong for one because of the in game cheat menu which still gives you achievements even when you have top weapons and infinite ammo - easy !

Other games I really really enjoy I don't cheat at all because of the accomplishment, being a Call of Duty fan I always like to start on Veteran difficulty and see how long it takes me to do.
