I feel bad for all the ppl that think Tekken 5 is a good fighter when real games like VC5, SF4, and SC4 are all out, and KOF coming out in June. Tekken is bottom of the lineup when it comes to quality fighting. At least it beats out Marvel vs DC :BARF:

I feel bad for you for thinking that all these junk games mentioned are even half as good as tekken. The only one that comes anywhere near is Soul Calibur. And it's certainly not (despite darth vader) soul calibur 4.

On that note my vote goes to tekken.

for those saying tekken is inferior to SC, and sfiv

dont be stupid

and to the guy who said tekken does not take any skill, you obviously never played a tekken in your life

sfiv is easy to do the moves

Your ignorance to fighting games is rather obvious. Tekken mainly focuses on direction + single button key strokes, very rarely implementing any directional use of the D pad. I'm looking at the Tekken 5 Strategy Guide now. Yes, I've played Tekken, and yes, I've played it competitively. The game is very shallow in comparison to the precise timing of ANY Street Fighter game. Instead of being a fanboy of a series, how about you go to a competition one of these days, and as there are 100+ SF4, SF3S, and MVC2 players, there will be a loely section with about 15-20 people playing Tekken, all players who are scrubs in the main events, trying to man up on a lesser game.

Tekken 5 DRO is pretty much Tekken 5.  Why don't you go out of country and look at the huge Tekken crowds playing Tekken 6 BR competively already?  Thats besides the point that most people who play comptetive Tekken are just waiting for Tekken 6 BR.

Also, you clearly don't play Tekken competively since you stated "very rarely implementing any directional use of the D pad".  Mastering the Wave Dash takes a lot more skill than a majority of Street Fighter combos.  Learn  your stuff before you talk smack.

Tekken has the deepest system of any fighter simply because each button controls a limb. It allows for an amazing combination where you can create your own style with the chars. There are some users with 150 different moves ! Now tell me any game that even comes close to that :p you can't.
