At the moment I am on the last act on hardcore of gears 2 and I have availed of walk throughs to help me.

I had to for metroid prime 2. Damn, that game was hard, especially those last 9 keys!



Everyone has to use them for collectibles in game. Like finding all the hidden packages in GTA, or most recently collecting all intel and destroying helgast symbols in killzone.

i may not have them acheievements, but its only laziness

i use walkthroughs to find collectibles only



Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

i don't use them that often, only when i get really stuck. i do use acheivement guides more often though.
