To tell you the truth I am not much of a fan of the Madden series or sports games in general. I played and watched 2 - 3 thousand hours of NHL hockey in the Genesis days and that was my limit.

When I bought my PSP I liked the blue one better, but I got the black one with Ratchet and Clank instead just so I would not get the Madden game.

So what does everyone think of John Madden's retirement and how do y'all think it will affect Madden in the future? I like Madden but for a while I liked ESPN 2k better

It depends if they can still get Madden to do some voiceovers or is he retiring from that too?

I don't think he hasn't said anything about it yet, but I was hearing on this talk show on the radio about his history with the game and apparently Madden was basically deeply involved, originally EA wanted to have 7 or 8 players on the field for each team and Madden went on a rant and told them he wouldn't do jack unless the game was 100% realistic. That's pretty tight if you ask me
