Forums - Microsoft - PS3 or Xbox 360? 3 Reasons To Get an Xbox 360

there was more cons than pro for me.

- i will never pay for online.
- i need wifi to get online. the router very far away.
- lacked a blu ray player
-it's unreliable.
-it scratch disc.
-it's loud
- Versus, Trico, MSG4, GT5, LBP , KZ2 or god of war 3 were not comming to it.
- warranty it's only 3 months by retailers here, microsoft have live in the US or you are screwed for warranty claims.

-Pro
-it was cheaper.
-slightly better online features (not true anymore besides in game more chat and more ingame invites support).
-it can modded (not really by modding they will ban you from online).
-got many jrpg timed exclusive.

when i put those in perpective it' was a better idea to get a ps3, but i may get a 360 at the end of the gen and mod it to play JRPGs.

though tales of vesperia it's already being ported. so that killed it only chance.

To OP:

4) Netflix

5)Best games and Exclusive DLC.

1) better games (most probably will change this year unless MS has a KILLLER E3)
2) cheaper price
3) unlike the Ps3, it doesnt fool around with things like blu ray. the console is straight up for games which i love about it.

lol you got a point there.

reason 1#price - no one is bothered abt this anymore (as u can see from the sales)
reason 2# yes the x360 has more games than its competitor as its been out for longer
reason#£ same as reason 2, its been out for longer as its normal for the 360 to have more games

Bad list imo.

1. Price - Depends on what you want in a product, and for some, money is not an issue. So this can hardly be a point to why one should buy a product. I wouldnt install 10$ breaks in my car just because it only cost ten dollars.

2. Live - Valid point. A nice feature, that might be appealing to customers. Even though PS3 fans say its PSN is close to XBL at this point. Its still a feature a customer would like to read more about.

3. Games - Anyone looking into buying a console at this point, 3-4 years into this generation, probably wont look to all those 500+ whatever games. But mostly on the AAA games it has, and some games that the customer in question might have had its eyes on due to special prefrences, like JPRG. They'd most likely look at whats coming rather than the past, because of above reason.

---

1. - I would rather stress the userbase for multiplayer purposes
2. - Live for a solid way to interact with the community and get the full online experience.
3. - Variation of games, rather than the amount of games. Most people tend to think the 360 is strong towards JPRG. So thats a valid point to bring to the customers attention.
4. - It can be hacked. Might seem like a wierd point, but most of my friends have hacked their 360 so that they dont have to spend tons of cash on new games all the time. This also enables people to play games they usually wouldnt spend money on.

There you go.. now thats a list. Not just a fanboy reply in an effort to beat on the PS3.

i agree with the tail end of #3, when i had both the PS3 and 360 i felt the 360 was made for games first and everything after was icing.

as for the topic ill say what i always do and that is you need to know what you wont out of the system and what games you wont to play, then go make the buy. if you spend more time playing and less time bashing you picked well.

Yep, i'm a girl

I love how the list gets smaller and smaller. First it was 10, then 5, and now 3. And of these 3, 1 (XBL) is very debateable.

Poor Xboys, beginning to get desperate are we?

(And price is debateable as well, $100 wifi add-on, $50 a year for Live, you know the usual)
