Ok, so watch the very last episode of Naruto before beginning shippuden. Good to know.

So if it's possible could somebody tell me what is so lame about those 80 episodes without giving too much away about them (in case I get bored and watch them later)

They all involve Naruto... a lot.

Good filler should flesh out the supporting cast and leave most of the heavy lifting to them.  But rather then do that they pair Naruto up with differet subcast teams... often leaving most of the heavy lifting to him.

Since he is the one that has to do all the heavy lifting fighting wise every fight ends up being the exact same thing... since... as filler they can't have him pull out any new kickass moves.

So, the stories are throwaways... the sidecharacter focus is minor, so it doesn't even flesh out the other characters too much... and all the fights are Narutos shadowclones getting murdered forever until he pulls of his supermove to win.  Or fails a few times to land his supermove... makes a stupid speach and then lands his supermove.

Thanks, I kind of figured it would be something along that line. I figured Naruto's filler would be like DBZ at it's worst. Alot of trash talk, little animation, and repetitive "fights". I will most likey avoid and go straight to shippuden.

To be fair though... Naruto is my least favorite part of Naruto.

I think all the characters outside of the "main 3" are pretty awesome.

Problem with Bleach is that the story isn't moving fast anyway, putting fillers inbetween is obviously only making it worse. Also the placement of the fillers is very awkward in Bleach, like in the middle of an arc. It's so Fucking irritating if you look forward to the next episode and what you get is filler. The last filler was cool though, karakuriser was awesome.

Which filler ep fills you up on the past? I'm busy watching episode 63 now.

What he said, You're talking about the one about Kisuke, right? I haven't watched Blach in 4 months because of the constant filler-no-filler episodes. Can you tell me which ones contain original Manga material?

Skip the fillers. Not based on the comic at all. And they just can't write for Naruto as well as Kishimoto can.

I'll change everything so there are no spoilers. This is what happens with the fillers:

Let's say I was making a cartoon out of Lord of the Rings. I adapted the first 2 books perfectly. Then after the end of The Two Towers, where Sam thinks Frodo is dead and he's freaking out.... I started making up bullshit instead of following the cliffhanger and going directly into Return of the King. So I start making episodes where Sam leaves the tower and goes back to Hobbiton to hang out with his friends. He meets a talking squirrel and he goes to a pie eating contest, and has many other adventures. And then it builds up to an episode where he uh... remembers "oh shit, I have to save Frodo" and then leads back into Return of the King.

That's what the Naruto fillers do. You can skip every single one. Don't even watch the "crossover" episodes. Those are just their attempt to erase all the fillers. In my LOTR example, those episodes would be Sam traveling back to the tower and worrying about Frodo again, leading bck to the exact same cliffhanger.

After episode 135 of Naruto, go directly to episode 1 of Shippuden. Think of the fillers as bad fanfiction.

Karakuriser :P

(the other episode with karakuriser was much better though).

I unfortunately watched all the episode's..yes most of the Filler's are lame ... But if Rock lee entertains you then there are some good one's...You should go ahead and jump straight to Shippuden you wont miss anything...Oh and by the way Shippuden has filler as well.....All the current new episode as not only filler's but altered story lines...as for the manga...well...that would be giving spoilers.....But alot happens....OMG I wanna tell you something....but it would be real bad for who ever has not read all the manga chapters...anyone read manga at all?

No, but I'm pretty damn sure that the last episode of Naruto fillers contained the part *SPOLER* where Naruto goes off to train with Jaraiya for 3 years(manga)/1 year(anime)
