I've never quite understood why some people on this forum have called God of War 3 one of the PS3's major games in terms of besting the 360 in sales. I've always understood it to be a very good game but what evidence supports it being a system seller?

To me GT5 and God of War 3 shouldn't even be mentioned in the same discussion yet they constantly are both brought up as system sellers..

So please educate me on this matter.. Why will God of War 3 sell PS3's?

Very few people will pay $460 for a game, even if it were the greatest game in history.

Its not. The original sold like 3.5 million, the sequel sold about a million less, the PSP release sold about a million more less. Will this actually be an increase in sales? We'll see.
