Actually GT5 will probably be released in time for Christmas with a PS3 price drop. We won't see how much GT5 helped because the price drop will have a much bigger impact.

If I look at the same time frame at the beginning of the lives of all three Sony consoles and consider the quality of games available this gen i would easily say that IMO this is the best of the three.

I'm talking from a GAMES point of view, not a SALES point of view.

What amazing games we have. Then of course this is the future, right?

PS3 FTW!

Also I think MGS4 is a bigger console mover than GT5.

And do you think a PS3 drop will have a much bigger impact than GT5 in regards to moving hardware?

No, it just seems like a logical move.

Infact I think Sony will whatever it takes to get this game to sell 10 million copies. Heavy bundling probably.

Why the hell drop price at the same time as the release of the biggest non fitness game this gen?  That would be like throwing money out the window!
