1. You must play through the entire mission to the end before the game save your progress. The checkpoints are just temporary.

I beat the game, it's really great. First game that I beat in quite a while. Mostly wall run in the 9 chapters. Last boss fight, he couldn't stop my 360 degree spinning sword attack. It was an epic scene.

I have also beaten the game and I must say I quite liked it. The artstyle is nothing for me, but the gameplay is really tight and that what's matter. Entertaining bossfights too :)

Ninja Blade is awesome! Glad you guys liked it. I've had the Asian Version for months now. Going to play through this game again soon I think. :D I couldn't put my controller down when I played this bad boy. For those who have followed some of my post you may know that I def. dig my rpg's western and eastern. Anyways the night Star Ocean 4 came out I picked it up nearly 30 minutes late just because I was that into the game and so determined to finish it. BTW Star Ocean 4 was one of my most anticipated early 09 titles so thats saying something lol.

I think the game is fine... If you are not a fan of QTE it would be a problem... But, I think the review scores are not reflective of the game. To me it is at least 7.5 and if you like QTE I would rate it as high as 8.75.

For me, I give it an 8.4. Good not great graphics, fun battles everywhere... Average cut scenes when they are purely cinematic. Not as smooth as Ninja Gaiden but it is a solid game. It will have a cult following.

I played some more Ninja Blade tonight (Mission 2)... I had a tonne of fun...

Great ending to the mission... A totally over the top QTE with the ending quote being "Pucker up bastard!"... It was so over the top that I forgot to hit the QTE buttons the first time I was laughing so hard...

This game is just plain fun...
