those news are getting more ridiculous every time we hear them.

why did the mom leave a 9 year old, special education student at home by himself in the first place? That alone doesn't make any sense to me, if there's anything to blame it would be her disgustingly horrible parenting skills.

But but videogames are so much fun that they have to be one of two things:

1. They should be illigal
or
2. They are evil

It's because in America, parents have a "children are too stupid to know the difference between fiction and reality" mentality whereas in Japan, parents have a "children should know the difference between fantasy and reality at a young age" mentality.  Coming from someone who lives in America, I actually prefer the latter.  American parents aren't bad but they can be overprotective of their children at times.  Japanese parents may put a ton of pressure on their children but they still love them.

I think it is just insane 2 blame video games like this. The parents are the one to blame IMO.
