Not, true. The 80gb model in North America has 4 usb ports and card readers and PS2 emulation, whereas the ones in Europe has 2 usb ports and no card readers.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS3 - go to the retail configurations chart.

perhaps the guy is american.

Wasn't that just for the limited Ed. MGS4 bundle?

correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the MGS4 SKU was simply the older NTSC 80gb PS3 with a different paint and texture. Regardless, I do remember the 80gb having BC at one time or another in America. I'm sure if you go on ebay, you can find plently of 80gb NTSC BC models with 4 usb ports and card readers.

Different Paint and textures??  I dunno what your talking about..  It was just a 80 gb PS3 (b/c) w/ MGS4 and dualshock 3 controller

edit: OH i think your talking about the limited gunmetal one.. That was only a 40gb with the paint and stuff on it, and came with MGS4

@dudes above

I was just curious - I only knew about the MGS4 one for sure.
Sometimes it seems NA gets most of the luck! PAL only had the 60GB and (yuk) the 20GB with ps2 B/C afaik

Yeah, I was thinking about this bundle...

I thought that it was also an 80gb (instead of 40gb), but I now remember that there was another MGS4 bundle that came with a standard 80gb NTSC model with 4usb ports and card readers like the motorstorm bundle.
