Well we've come a long way since this generation blasted into existence with the launch of the Xbox360 in 2005, and some top quality games have launched cementing their places in time... but I was wondering which titles take the top spots for you guys.
For me it goes a little like this:
360: Bioshock - although it is no longer exclusive it was at the time I played it. Has a fantastic immersive storyline.
PS3: MGS4 - an absolutely epic achievement in bringing movies and games closer together.
Wii: Super Mario Galaxy - the genius that is Miyamoto proves that platformers are not finished yet.
Although I have to admit, my personal favourite of the generation has to be Infinity Ward's masterpiece - Call of Duty 4. FPS were always a good genre to me, but this really gripped me for a long time and i've sunk in upwards of 150 hours in the multiplayer. Bring on Modern Warfare 2!
