Forums - Gaming - Who actually believes that GT series IS more popular than Halo series.

f Sonic has his own bible, and Blizzard has two historians on staff for World of Warcraft, why shouldn’t Halo get its own encyclopedia? Publisher Dorling Kindersley (a.k.a. DK) announced today that the company will be publishing a Halo encyclopedia, an officially licensed guide to “the characters, weapons, vehicles, equipment, and locations from Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, and Halo 3: ODST.” The encyclopedia will be 352 pages and include a foreword by Frank O’Connor, Halo’s franchise development director.

DK has also worked on a variety of Star Wars, DC Comics, and Marvel reference books as well, and Alex Allan, the company’s Director of Licensed Publishing says the creative team at DK are avid gamers and have been fascinated by Halo for quite some time. So, if you do have a set of encyclopedias detailing all of this world’s intricacies, why not supplement it with one about Halo’s ringed worlds as well?

Nissan Skyline GT-R

Between 1969 and 1974, and again between 1989 and 2002, Nissan produced a high performance version of its Skyline range called the Nissan Skyline GT-R. This car proved to be iconic for Nissan[6][7] and achieved much fame and success on road and track. The Nissan GT-R, although no longer carrying the "Skyline" badge, has heritage in the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Like the Skyline GT-Rs R32 through R34, the Nissan GT-R is all-wheel drive with a twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine; however, the evolutionary, incremental changes between Skyline models R32 through R34 have been done away with. The four-wheel-steering HICAS system has been removed, and the traditional straight-6 RB26DETT engine has been replaced with a new V6 VR38DETT.[8] Because of the GT-R's heritage, the chassis code for the all-new version has been called CBA-R35,[9] or 'R35' for short, carrying on the naming trend from previous Skyline GT-R generations. The GT-R has also retained its Skyline predecessor's nickname Godzilla.[10][11]

and they have many =D

in game, sexy car =D

"Polyphony Digital, creators of the Gran Turismo series of racing video games, were themselves involved in the development of the GT-R, having been contracted to design the GT-R's multifunction display."

I think GT series has more history behind it. When it comes to sales, GT has a history of great sales compared to Halo. However, I believe that the Halo series is more popular because of big the harcore fanbase is this generation, especially on Xbox LIVE.

Chrysler Jeep Renegade Concept looks like Halo 3 Chief Spartans Vehicle, do you like it?

Chrysler has a fair few concept cars and this one is apparently the third release in the way of final sketches, below we have a few images for you to look at. Before I go into the car itself, does anyone think that the Jeep Renegade Concept looks like Chief Spartans car from Halo 3 game?

This vehicle was shown off at the Detroit Auto Show in January, now you are wondering why the heck we are publishing about it now, well the reason we are is because many people may have missed this little beauty. The Jeep Renegade Concept has been designed to be rugged, you know something that can take a beating or two, it is a B-segment-sized two-seat eco-friendly vehicle that is capable of dune surfing and off roading. Those who love the world to be green will love the fact it uses minimal materials and has a hybrid drive train, it is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack which has a 40-mile range, and it can be recharged by a small onboard BLUETEC diesel engine. The combined mileage of the hybrid system is said to be 110 mpg.

Check out the Jeep Renegade Concept pictures below, and then below these you can see the full press release.
