The answer is that God was created by man, and naturally man gave God human-like characteristics, just like we give animals and other mythical beings human-like characteristics in other man made stories. This explains why God has the personality of a human king in 5,000 BC. At that time men desired to be worshipped, they were very angry, jealous, and vengeful against others, and they ruled with a iron-fist. Actions God commanded of his Old Testament followers are considered harse and ridiculous by today's standards, but were on par with mankind at that time. |

Its just an endless loop. You can't disprove God, and you can't prove him either. Its foolish to bicker over it
That is correct, we can't disprove god if he doesn't exist because there are countless ways around arguments of the sort.
However, if god exists it shouldn't be impossible to prove it.

Where does it say that there has to be a way to prove that God exists? Is there some kind of deity handbook or list of rules?
Using logic to try to prove that something supernatural exists or does not exist is illlogical.

Technecally you can't.
Sure its funny to laugh at the Elephant guy or Xenu, but you still can't really disprove their existance. There is no set rules for gods, and thus so there is no way to determine if they are real.
Most people pick a religion and have faith that it is the true religion. There is no way to say their choice is incorrct just cause you disagee with it.
