Forums - Gaming - New Bayonetta Trailers = WIN

This game is so full of win, so much so that I'm willing to ignore every single cliche under the sun being written into the script, the action sequence from this trailer alone make this game drool worthy, it has shot right up there now with God of War 3 in term of anticipation. Damn Sega is on FIRE.

Im not much into fighters.

But i am interested in seeing how this game sells compared to mad world. It may finally put to rest the debate about whether Mad World is selling bad because its hardcore, or good because its niche.

This is very unfair on Madworld, one is an ultra violent artistically license game that can only be discribe as niche. The other is a much bigger budget grahpical powerhouse that has much more mainstream appeal not to mention a pedegree that will guarantee a certain level of success in Japan.

If Bayonetta does not outsell Madworld on each of the HD platform individually, I will be very dissapointed not to mention extremely suprise.

Kamiya = win! This new trailer got me pumped up for Bayonetta. I hope it delivers unlike DMC4 which greatly disappointed me. I also read the game will be hard, and that's a good thing for me :)

This is a PS360 game? Could be on Wii from what I see.

Really?
I was thinking they were similarly niche games. Sure Bayonetta has more mainstream graphics, but the gameplay looks so out there, theres so much crazy stuff going on i thought it had really niche gameplay like mad world.

if it's any thing like DMC 2,3,4 and especially 4 then pass but if it's not it's either a buy or a rental depending on the length

I believe graphic can be a big factor when determining mainstream appeal, especially when one game represent itself entirely from black white and red, at the heart of things, both games are just third person hack&slash afterall.
