I can't be bothered to narrow it down, so I'm just gonna name 3 films which I really enjoyed.

- Oh Brother Where Art Thou (surreal rendition of Homer's Odysey)

- Shaun of the Dead (imo the funniest film of all time... Billy Madison is terrible btw )

- A Scanner Darkly (insanely cool art style)

Billy Madison terrible? Okay your obviously under a lot of stress. Don't worry, I'll pretend you didn't say that.

Shaun of the dead is funny though. Never heard of A scanner darkly.

2001 ASO

Fight Club (but i should say There Will Be Blood)

ahhh i dk, Shining (considering the complexity of that film its remarkable how well constructed it is)

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

- LORD OF THE RINGS

-DARK KNIGHT

-STAR TREK THE WRATH OF KAHN

Right now... I'm in the mood to go with...

8 1/2
Man With a Movie Camera
Dune

The link goes to the full movie. It's in the public domain and is not only one of the most influential documentaries of all time, it's also one of the most influential music videos of all time. Yes, it is both at the same time. And it's from 1929. It's only an hour long, it's really fast and frantic (for those of you youngsters who might assume everything from 1929 is slow and boring), and I highly recommend it.
