More gods would make sense. I mean... none of us are born from masturbation. God needs to put his schlong in something too.

Considering there are over a billion polytheist Hindu people in the world I don't think its necessarily any less reasonable to believe in a pantheon of Gods then a single entity.

Religion requires faith, reasonable doesn't enter into it really.

Well one thing to look out for is that Hinduism also has atheist sects.

Sounds weird... but it's true.

Speaking of myths..

Many Christians and Muslims downgrade other people's belief systems to a myth. At what point did they 'prove' that their own myth ascended above other myths?

Did someone 'stamp' some documents or what?
Seriously what happened?

Well Hinduism is an extremely diversified religion and I definitely wouldn't want to present myself as an expert, but many of them are polytheists so my point still remains. A lots of people believe in both so its hardly less reasonable considering both require faith at the end of the day.

It's because no one believes in them anymore.

If a religion doesn't exist anymore.  It's pretty fair to call it a myth, no?  Though to be fair i do believe there are some practicing Norse people somewhere... though i believe it's a revived religion with the Norse belief having died off before.

Basically..

Polytheistic faith = Monotheistic faith

There's not much difference imo. They're all religous and 'righteous'. Otherwise they would not really believe.

Wait.... why the =/= then?

=/= means not equal.

believing in ANYTHING requires faith.

There is not way as a human to avoid it.

Even simply by existing you put faith in the fact you exist.  Well unless you don't.  But I mean... unless you hold the beleif that "Everything even my very own existance could not be real."

You have faith in something.
