The album was released on November 30, 1982 by Epic Records.

"The album that stands the test of time, an album we will never forget"

Megaman2, Vgchartz Member.

Thriller cemented Jackson's status as one of the predominant pop stars of the late 20th century, and enabled him to break down racial barriers via his appearances on MTV and meetings with President Ronald Reagan at the White House. The album was one of the first to use music videos as successful promotional tools—the videos for Thriller, "Billie Jean" and "Beat It" all received regular rotation on MTV.

There will never be another album like Thriller where do we begin. The album that started the video revolution with video's such as Billie Jean, Beat it and Thriller. The first artist to use music video as a promotional tool. The first album to spawn 7 top 10 singles. In it's peak the album sold a million copies a week. The album that defined the 80's, The album won Jackson a record-breaking seven Grammy Awards in 1984, including Album of the Year. The eighth Grammy went to Bruce Swedien. That same year, Jackson won eight American Music Awards, the Special Award of Merit and three MTV Video Music Awards. 2 years later Thriller was recognized as the world's best-selling album on February 7, 1984.

Who could forget the greatest peformance of all time, the peformance that left America star struck. The peformance that gave us 'The Moonwalk'. No peformance in terms of electricity will ever match the Billie Jean 'Motown Peformance'.

The peformance that broke down the racial bariers, the peformance that showed what a great dancer MJ is. Hailed by fans and critics alike as one of the 'Greatest Music Videos'.

Beat it - the music that brought us the red leather jacket lol. The dance scene in the video simply unmatched. This is a remix vid i was not able to embed the original vid.

The Greatest music video of all time! Hailed by the Rolling stones Magazine, Channel 4's Uk viewers, Mtv, VH1, Time Magazine amd the list goes on. I think it pretty obvious this is the greatest vid of all time!

Thriller Mania in it's prime was unstoppable.

Thriller Mania was unstoppabe lol.

The Album has sold 109 million copied certified by The Guiness world of records. Won 8 grammy's and American Music awards.

The thriller album has hailed by many critics as one of the greatest albums and 'Yesterday' was named the 'Greatest ALbum'

Thriller album named 'Greatest Album'.

Los Angeles - Michael Jackson's Thriller has been named the Greatest Album Ever.

The pop superstar's landmark 1982 LP - which is the world's best-selling album - dominated a poll of MTV viewers, securing almost a third of the total vote.

"I don't think there'll ever be another album like it in the history of music," said MTV Base presenter Trevor Nelson speaking about Thriller - which was produced by Quincy Jones and features some of Jackson's best known hits.

"There will never be a marriage of producer and artist, or song writing and pop sensibility like that again. Due to the way people buy records now, there'll never be an album that sells as many copies."

The list was compiled by music industry experts, artists, and bosses from the network's three UK channels - MTV2, VH1 and MTV Base.

With the video issue, the youtube account MichaelJackson doesn't allow embedding..You might want to try a different account if that's the source of the videos.

im trying to get it from other sources but still not working.

I think the most influential album of all time is Sgt. Pepper's, but then again, that was just a ripoff of Freak Out! by the Mothers, so I'm actually going to go with Freak Out! by the Mothers.

Thriller was a selection of incredible songs, but all it did as an album was put a bunch of incredible songs in a row. Freak Out! invented the concept album and changed the way people made albums. Now albums get intros and outros and have songs that share similar themes, or even song cycles or rock operas.
