Forums - General - car accidents

I was just in a bad accident 2 days ago. Some asshole rear-ended me going 55-65mph.  He's uninsured and unlicensed but luckily that's not my problem since I was driving a work van. I'm pregnant so it was pretty scary but luckily the baby is okay.

Ever been in a bad accident?

sorry i cant say that i have almost a few times but never had other car hit me

I work at the CVS Pharmacy, located in a very small city so we get a lot of regulars. last Saturday to of these custumers got in a car accident and slamed to a pole a high speeds and were killed instantly. The accident was so bad that at first the police didnt even relize the guy in the back was human he thought it was a crumble mass cloths, and the guy in the front seat had severe damage to his face, they young too.

When i was eight years old, i was out with my family for a weekend in the beach, when we were arriving, a car passed us at high speeds, the driver lost control of it and crashed into a lamp post that fell down towards our car.

We got smashed inside, my father and my mother were relatively okay, but i had a broken leg and two broken ribs because it fell directly above me. I only had time to lie on my side hoping it wouldn't hit me with full force.

Th damage was so severe that they dont think a open casket ceremony at the funeral is possible for both victims

I am glad the baby is doing ok.

I got in a wreck once on the highway... I looked away for 3 seconds... and was still going ~55mph, the other guy was basically stopped due to traffic up ahead... I looked back just in time to take my foot off the accelerator but not enough time to hit the brakes well, if at all. That was a scary thing, ramming into the back of a small pickup... We were both ok, by God's grace, but both cars were totaled. I escaped with a small cut on my right hand, and I think he was alright too, just a bit shaken up. Nice guy though.

I don't drive, but my mom got in an accident that broke her nose.

Yeah it's awful..I have to start seeing a Chiropractor on monday.
