ok i didnt quite understand the purpose of your post but i well explain why i support ps3 ad why i think it is hardcore but a special type of hardcore.

I have B_E_L_I_E_V_E in my sig  because sony and the PS3 get too much hate so we have to overhype it to compensate, i know is not from the future, but is has all i need for gaming out of the box, the machine is not the problem it was the terrible PR the company has and all the crap they talk, also very bad planning.

I think the ps3 is for hardcore gamers, but not for any type of hardcore gamers, not for the ones that play for the sake of playing, those kind get any machine that does that and are happy so they already got something else, specially if they can only buy one, those play games that give instant gratification like FPS.

PS3 is for a selective type hardcore, one that is waiting for the next team ICO game, that spend hours creating lvls in LBP, that can be captured by Valkyria Chronicles story or enjoy the beauty flower, players that are waiting patiently for FFXIII and FFvsXII. No one that is not hardcore is willing to pay US$400-US$600 for a gaming machine, mainly to play game.

"Hardcore" games like CoD4, GTA4, Halo 3 among the top sellers are all simple to play, yet difficult to master.

I am almost certain Valkyria Chronicle's budget was about as much as a NIS game... Dont' quote me on that, it's just my feeling...

Sega don't put a lot of money into new independent IPs... they love their Sonic too much.

I agree errorrr, I think tat sega knows how to push style over realism in a really nice way. That's how they save money on their games.

I think deathgod i just fooling with you because he just likes 3rd person shooters better. Its pretty much the same thing.

Umm, where do I begin? That I bought RE5, KZ2, LBP, R2, GTP, nobynoby, and LBP and I haven't finished any of them because they are all too difficult? Who is going to play games that are this hard. Nobody, that's who.
