I'm Canadian and proud. Leaching off the US for a hundred years and still going strong. We get all the pluses, with none of the responsibilities! Yay!

I don't know if pride is the right word - I didn't have much choice being here - but that's not to say I wouldn't want to.

I'm quite proud of the general philosophy America supposedly was founded on. However, throughout my life this country has done very little to make me proud, that's for sure. With this being a democracy, I'd say I was more disappointed in the people in this country than the country itself.

How has natural selection not managed to weed you out yet?

One minute you're proud to be an American, the next you want your state to leave the union.

Well, made me laugh.

Ask a Canadian what they think about America and they could go on for hours.

Ask an American what they think of Canada and they'll mumble something about it being cold.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

go fuck yourself you commi bastard.

If I'm a commi bastard, what does that make you for wanting to split up the United States of America?
