Honestly, it's really hard to predict what will happen with this game...Adventure games don't usually do too well, but their last game (Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit) actually did pretty well. And I'm sure Sony will give it plenty of advertising, considering it's an exclusive and it's been in development for a while. I'm gonna go with 500k - 1m worldwide.

Actually I might put this on my sighn so I can fart on them fanboy bitches faces that will say "Ohhh flop flop flop you said it will do 9999kazilion FW" once this game comes out.

I'd say 1 million is a good target for life time sales.

I'm not sure how well indigo prophecy (or farenheit depending on where you live) did, but I would imagine it didn't sell huge volumes.

I think CGI-Quality is doing wonders for hyping this game here, I seriously thought it'd be a piece of crap (despite the developer) who's only talking point was graphics (something that was a characteristic for many PS3 games before Uncharted launched). But now, I've got pretty high hopes for this game.

According to the official Quantic Dream website, Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit has sold over 800,000 units worldwide since it was released.

It was released on 3 platforms, Heavy Rain is only on PS3

Heavy Rain will by hyped to the sky, IP/F was not...in fact i think it only got ads in Europe.

Heavy Rain has the stellar graphics going for it and could "trick" people into buying it that would not normally buy that type of games.

This one is tough to call actually....I'd say 100k first week and 800k-900k lifetime

There's a 25 mins demo of the game they made in Paris. The speech is in french, I translated some of it in another thread, but what I can tell you is that it's over exciting. You can do A LOT in the game, and there are always multiple ways to go through the story.
Very very interesting. Maybe you can find it subtitled somewhere.

Whats the release date?

This is weird, ive heard so much hope but i know nothing about it. I don't know what it was what its about or anything i shall look this up tomorrow.
