True, but more people like the games I said then god of war. Can I back this up? Look at the sales. You can say sales mean nothing, but if a game sucks it wont get good sales.
God of war2: 2.45M sales on a 145M userbase....
SMG: 8M sales on a 50M userbase... Both games are good and have quality.

He/She is talking about the demographic. The majority of people that own a PS2 were likely 10-20 year olds, but a smaller percentage bought God of War 2. The majority of people that own a Wii range from young children (3; I work at a daycare and children at that age that I know own a Wii, and they are REALLY good at Wii Sports, as our daycare has 2 Wii systems) all the way to elderly people. A moderate to a big percentage purchased Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii system because its userbase hasn't grown to a huge proportion (namely 60/65+).
Look at it this way: 2.45/145 * 100 = 1.69% for God of War 2.
With Mario Galaxy, it's 8/50 * 100 = 16%.
Let's say that God of War 2 sold 8 million on the 145 million userbase. 8/145 * 100 = 5.52% for the attach ratio. The higher the sales of the software with the userbase shows the percentage of the attach ratio.
If Super Mario Galaxy sold 2.45 million on a 50 million userbase, it would be 2.45/50 * 100 = 4.9%.
The userbase most likely has to be a bit smaller whilst the game sales higher to have a higher attach rate. I THINK that's how it's done, but correct me if I'm wrong
PLUS the age is a factor for both the console and game. Just look at the sales for Pokemon Diamond/Pearl with the Nintendo DS's userbase.
