They could have, true. I forgot to mention that I wouldn't enter the turret until Warhawks were flying near my base. The turret would appear to be idle until I was ready to use it. Also this was on the map that had a bridge on the right side all the enemy warhawks would go underneath to collect green missiles while advancing towards my base, so once they were nearing the underpass, they basically couldn't outmaneuver a shot from the rockets.

It's a lot of fun. My roommate and I used to host a server for hours and run 2-4 player split screens and a 24+ person server.

The learning curve is a little steep but you will find something that you can be good at initially. (Like Driving Jeeps, Shooting Machine guns etc). Eventually you'll learn to lock onto targets, Drive Tanks, Play AA ,etc and then once you're totally comfortable get in the Warhawk.

It's a pretty deep game overall. I'm shocked that it didn't get a better overall reception. I think they should have released a single player (Even if it woulda been short). Then it would have got the praise it deserves.

I agree with Kylie.   Any average, run of the mill pilot could take down the missle turret with ease. (With either the guided missile or cloaking with rockets/machine gun)  I don't know about others but after I die once or twice to the same person.  I make sure they die.  =D
