I've read a lot of mostly negative professional reviews of Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard, but when I watched the Gametrailers video review (which was also mostly negative) http://www.gametrailers.com/game/10343.html  I thought the game looked hilarious and pretty fun.  However, the gamefaqs reader reviews here http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/xbox360/review/954401.html and here http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/ps3/review/954400.html are all 8's.  Not too shabby.  I tend to trust reviews from "real" people more than professional ones.  Anybody here loving or hating this game?

Well...the complete absence of any responses is actually pretty helpful. It tells me that absolutely nobody is playing this game. It's a shame. I think the industry is lacking in genuinely funny games.

Hey, I played it, its not that bad. But, If you can, rent it. Its a bit on the short side. It was good for some laughs.

If I buy it, it definitely wouldn't be for full price. I'm thinking it won't be long until it's $20 and then there's little harm in giving it a go.

I've heard the writing is good but the gameplay isn't really fun at all. 

Also, it's short with no real replayability (I don't count an unlocked difficulty setting after beating the game once as replayability, especially if the game isn't fun in the first place) and no multiplayer of any kind.

The in game music was very good too. What twesterm said is exactly right.

The game isn't as bad as the scores its getting on reviews.

I bought it and it is pretty funny. The initial tutorial is funny...

The game play is decent. The graphics are average now-a-days, but the pacing is fine... The cover system is actually really good.

Definately worth a rent or $39.99 buy.

Its funny and its just a first person shooter
If you are lookin for an easy platinum too then get it cuz all trophies can be earned thru the first play thru except the last difficulty one cuz u gotta beat it first to unlock that
