Well Infinite Space/Bayonetta look really cool. Madworld was ok.

You are a tremendous, unapologetic noob if you don't play Viewtiful Joe just because of the visual design. You aren't a niche gamer. You're an anime gamer. There's a difference.

Amaretsu wasn't telling you to look at Okami. Look at the other games they listed, many are fantastic, particularly Rez.

Character design is really important to me. Viewtiful Joe just puts me off. Stuff from Shin Megama Tensei I think looks awesome and I wanna play Devil Survivor Person etc.

Yggdra Union I love it and I would consider it niche. Most games from Sting in general I think are niche.

I am looking at other games and Im admitting to look up some of them. Im not gonna say all of them look interesting or I will check em out because they dont and Im not.

I'm saying that a niche gamer is someone who will play games just because they are niche, and represent experiences that cannot bee obtained in the mainstream. That's not you. If you reject niche games based on aesthetic considerations, you aren't actually looking for niche games - that's just how it is.
