Now your just hating. Just because you don't see Tales of Vesperia as beautiful does not mean somebody won't. I believe ones taste in beauty is a personal thing. With that being said i believe ToV deserved to be on that list.

How is saying that the game looks like a generic anime hating? If that's your thing, cool, but trying to claim it looks unique is absurd.

No its not absurd. I believe ToV has a very unique art style among video games and that all that matters to me.

I will pull out the promotional art. Don't make me do it.

I don't have to see things through your point of view. Why are you making such a big deal about someone else's taste? Just leave it alone.

Feel free to disagree with what I have listed, I more then likely have different standards then you on the topic of "beauty".

If you admit that you're not holding to any particular standard, fine, but if that's the case I would appreciate something reflecting that in the OP.

Oh I certainly am holding what I have written as beautiful games to a standard; but my standards for art seem to differ greatly from one thing to the next, apparently anyway. And as they continually change based on what I consider to be beautiful, and I would expect that most people's do(or perhaps most simply just have one standard of beauty? I could not imagine being limited like that personally) so standards of beauty in just about any form exist, if at all, in a very limited sense. But as you wish;

But...but you lied! You said feel free to disagree, but then argued vehemently at the slightest affronts to your opinions.

Of course. I never said I wouldn't argue back. I can't speak for the rest of the peple here, but when my opnion is challenged by another, I'm gonna argue the bloody hell out of it, especially when pertaining to art related things. And if I didn't expect or care for an argument, would I have put "feel free to disagree" in the OP? :P

2. Tales of Vesperia

Ah, Vesperia. So soft, so soothing, the relaxation and melodic tones with its candy-colored graphics only broken by Karol's shrill, girly voice. A game that I've heard to be considered "art" in graphical style(often put alongside Okami and SotC, for whatever reason) what Vesperia lacks in detail, it makes up in sheer simplicity. And the greatest part of the entire thing is just how seemless it is; the brilliant and shining color pallete blends perfectly with the changing landscape and brilliantly shining effect. In motion, its like watching a painting go by, crisp and cell shaded....but its not the most detailed thing out there, of course, which is the reason why the title of Most Beautiful Game on the Xbox 360 goes to...

Huh? I've never once, let alone often times, heard ToV mentioned or considered in the same league as either Okami or SotC. Don't get me wrong, I thought the game looked good, but comparable to either Okami or SotC? I think not.

On another note, those Fable II screens look great. I really should get around to trying it.

Oh I hear ya. Half the reason I come to these forums is to find people to pointlessly argue obscure gaming stuff with.

What does that even mean?

I simply haven't heard anyone make that comparison before, until now that is.

I haven't either, for what it's worth.
