@ Xxain and Xen

First of all i can't take a villain that got hit by a small ass fireball from Genis and could hardly stand after getting hit seriously.

Second he had this whole religion thing going just to revive his sister? WTF.

Third after he revived his sister through Colette she told him to leave her alone and let her reat in peace yet he took it as " she wants me to destory the world" or something like that. I can't remember exactly.

Very uncompelling.

Not a bad villian though just could not take him seriously.

That just means he's some crazy delusional dude with f'ed up ideals. That's not really uncompelling...a bunch of baddies are like that.

Its actually quite typical. Van was the same, and Duke is *kinda the same, except he tends to actually make sense and isnt a douch :P but yeah, thats how most JRPG villians usually are.

Duke is nothing like Mithos. He actually made sense. Also he had a good reason for wanting to do what he tried to do. Duke was also was very compelling and very mysterious. Plus the final battle against him was freaking epic. Big Bang and Brave Vesperia pwns all.

Mithos made sense too...how did he not make sense?

So a sister who asks her brother to let her reat in peace and the brother taking it as "she wants me to destory the world" makes sense?

FF 10 had a stupid Boss too

Uh...Mithos got pissed off that Martel died because she was a half elf so he decided to get rid of the original world which hates half elves and live on Derris Kharlan instead once everyone is an angel so there is no prejudice.

It makes perfect sense™

I think you should watch this video

Gongora is far from being the worst. He wanted to stay in the world to become a God and stay immortal. If you go under his mansion he actually explains his entire reasoning/logic as to why he became the "bad guy". His reasons were logical and he was pretty badass, just not as bad ass as many other villians these days.

Nene was pretty lame from what I remember but that's just me. I can't honestly remember a real bad boss from a JRPG outside of him and maybe the Enchanted Arms final boss/biatch.

It's just that simple.

God, Sephiroth is probably the worse villain ever created! Anyone that tells you otherwise is 100% emo teenager with lots of angst about nothing

What are you looking at, nerd?

The worst is of course... St. Ajora Glabados. And this is extremely weird given that the game has one of the best stories ever.

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

I never said Gongora's motive was nonsense.  It was just that it was very generic and overused. Also, it is generally agreed that his character design is terrible.  In other words, he is a one deminsional villian that just didn't stand out.  It seemed that Sakaguchi tried to make a Kefka imitation.  However, Gongora is just not as convincing an evil villian as Kefka.  Kefka mentally and verbally abused not only innocent people but his own soldiers as well. Not only that but he actually managed to reach his goal of destorying(or rather, ruin)  the world half way through FFVI.

Ultimecia, since the storyline in FF8 goes off into that weird ass time merger crap that wasn't handled well, Ultimicia just pops up with no explanation. I'm aware of what she is supposed to be, and what her GF is supposed to be, but the game never says that, its just speculation. I felt no animosity towards her at all.
