Van was a pathetic boss. I remember the main characters came face to face with him many times, even once when he was in his "buisness office", and didnt do anything except get emo and cry. Tales of the Abyss was amazing, Van was not.



GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

^ i think the Fireball was an act, and the religion wasnt just for his sister it was to change to world into puppets so prejudice would end everybody would look and act the same, Sephiroth did the last part too

The last reason why i could not take him seriously was because in the final battle against him his second form was him hiding inside a damn robot. And i kicked his ass in like 2 seconds.

That just means he's some crazy delusional dude with f'ed up ideals. That's not really uncompelling...a bunch of baddies are like that.

Its actually quite typical. Van was the same, and Duke is *kinda the same, except he tends to actually make sense and isnt a douch :P but yeah, thats how most JRPG villians usually are.

Duke is nothing like Mithos. He actually made sense. Also he had a good reason for wanting to do what he tried to do. Duke was also was very compelling and very mysterious. Plus the final battle against him was freaking epic. Big Bang and Brave Vesperia pwns all.
