Or the enemy commander decides instead of a hotly contested control point, he see's you in  his UAV and decides to launch an artillary strike.

Ture, but only a fool would run out and attack 255 people head on.   thats why you would be a sniper.  You could potentially take out 10-15 people before they realize where you are.   And when they finally do,  you are up a minumum of 10-1

Not really,  cause shouldn't your spawn point change?????   Most good online games do this pretty well

no that's COD way, but many games like the Battlefield series, Killzone and such lets you choose your own spwan point
