They are trying to maintain a "small company" feel. (They said this in the uncharted 1 "making of" videos)

I don't want them to make it if it's gonna delay uncharted 3. If it's not or if they outsource it (sony, for instance to ready at dawn) i wouldn't mind :p

if naughty dog isnt making it i dont want it on the ps3
ps2 is fine for now

Ready at Dawn did Daxter

Naughty Dog usually does Jak & Daxter, but Ready at Dawn did Daxter for the PSP and now High Impact are doing Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier for the PS2 ad PSP.

Insomniac usually does Ratchet & Klank, yet High Impact did the Size Matters and Secret Agent Klank on the PSP.

And Ready at Dawn did GOW:COO for the PSP instead of Sony Santa Monica.

And Sony Bend did Resistance Retribution for the PSP instead of Insomniac.

What I am surprised about is that Ready at Dawn not doing the new Jak & Daxter for the PSP at least seeing as how good a job they did with Daxter...and we hope the new game looks as good as Daxter at least....maybe High Impact will buy a licence to use RAD's latest engine?

yeah i was surprised they announced the new ratchet game for ps3 i really thought a new Jax for ps3 would come this year well theres always next holiday season a ps3 version of Jax would do wonders for the ps3

I think High Impact can do a decent job with it. I liked Size Matters, it was just too short. I'll have to wait and see with this one though, since I've never played any other Jak games and I don't want the first one to be bad (just in case this one turns out poorly).

High Impact games are PSP developers, they probably don't have the knowledge or workforce to make the PS3 game, if they were even allowed to.

Jak PS3 will get here soon, so be happy with the one we have now....but it better look better than those screens
