Me and him were talking about the wii, and then he decided to say "Yes thats why the 360 invented online gaming", and I asked him if he was sure about that statement, and he says "ofcourse the 360 made online gaming".

So I said, I thought the dreamcast was the first console to invent online gaming, he responded with a very crude message.. I dont think it would be good to post it.

So in other words, he wouldnt admit that the 360 was not the first console with online integration.

I decided to share this with you all because this MAY be my last post on this site, and that stupid argument came up.

Wrong Leo-J  :P

Also, your friend clearly overreacted. What a douche

Dreamcast was first, Xbox made console gaming popular!

Do you happen to be THAT LeoJ's friend?

*imitate leo* YOU ARE WRONG.... YOU ARE DEAD WRONG MAN!!!

Here's a quick story, there was a time when xbox didn't exist (you know a time when there was no annyoing/cry babies/blind fanboys) that made console gaming popular, that was the PS1.

Now please don't erupted again

Excuse me sir, but the Atari 2600 says boo to that.  30 million people can't be wrong.

100mil >>>>>>> 30mil

Sorry I win

Learn a little about video game history first.  Atari 2600 was the first to make home console gaming popular.  Then the videogame crash happened in the early 80s.  The NES then made home console gaming popular once again.  The market has expanded since then.  Just because the PS1 outsold NES or Atari 2600 doesn't mean shit, and if you want to get in the numbers game the Gameboy sold 118.69 million which includes the Gameboy and Gameboy color (since you didn't specify home console and just said console).
