Well, since we are talking about cars, I can't wait to start driving. I want to take driving classes as soon as possible.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
You should have started taking lesson snake612 already! I think in Texas they can start at about 15 or so. I think every state should be 16 at the minimum. I don't think 15 year old should be driving even if they have to have an adult with them. I grew up in Ohio and at the time it was 16 they may have lowered it though.
I like all cars but generally prefer American and European cars. When it comes to vintage stuff, I'm all over the place. I'm currently restoring a 74 Triumph TR6 while my father is restoring a 57 Buick sedan. We already restored a 66 Dodge Charger and a TR7, which I sold. Got halfway through a 56 Mercury Phaeton restoration before selling it way back in the day.
As for daily driver, it's just a Pontiac G6 GT. Nice enough to get me where I want to go in a relatively speedy fashion. That's all I want from a driver. I'm more of a motorcycle guy anyway.

Dang that is quite a list of restorations. I watch the auction show on ESPN (pretty sure it is ESPN) and I see a lot of nice cars that are restored that go for 15k-30k. Maybe a few years from now I can pick up a nice looking/driving restored classic muscle car.

It's been spread out over several years so it's really not that many cars. I really want to get the TR6 rolling because it's the ultimate summer car for this area... Such a stylish, sexy little beast. If I hadn't recently started dating someone, I'd probably go finish it because any girl with style just lusts over the little bugger. Here's the color I painted it last year:

Give a girl a scarf and a plaid blanket to keep warm, find some two lane roads, and you're guaranteed sex before the trip is over.

I am not very good with cars but I understand there is a way to reset your gear ratio. My car is a 5 speed manual transmission and it seems to rev kind of high around 70-75. It usually is at 3,000 - 3,500 rpm or so around this speed. My car starts to red line at 7,000 rpms. Shouldn't the car be around 2,000 or 2,500 at speed around 70-75? If I changed my gear ratio I would be able to save some gas I suppose? Can computer chips change the ratio or do I have to do something else? It almost seems I should have one more gear and it would be perfect...
