Not even close to Halo
All things considered, I'd still give the crown to halo

I see from your signature that you're a KZ2 player. As such you should not need my further explanations, we're only adding noise to the thread... but there you go:
- I said that it is "class and experience based" because through experience you unlock the classes. Halo has an xp only to give you a rank used in matchmaking, right?
- I said that it supports "clan valor", not clans
I think people fail to realize that Halo is actually a very fun game. A game doesn't sell 9 million copies on hype alone. If Killzone 2 is genuinely great it will sell millions more.
Quality of Game = KZ2
Popularity = Halo
Sales = Halo

I would Assume KZ2 would be higher quality. Halo set the benchmark and Sony saw how a game should be made.

lol, Sony knew how to make an amazing game long before Halo. And Killzone is very different than Halo, but a much better game imo.

Lulz, Sony makes amazing games. You say the wackiest things.
The only thing that came close to being a 'Halo killer' is CoD4. I think that term 'killer' is mis used here, as nothing will kill the Halo lore, other than Halo itself (ie if they milk the franchise so much, that there is nothing unique about it). However if we are interchanging 'killer' with a)sales, b)time played c)metacritic/gamerranking scores d)developer support etc or e) the whole package of a-d, then nothing this generation (or likely next) will come close to Halo. Halo 2 was on the top 3 most played online games on live until Halo 3 came out. Halo 3 will continue that tradition with periodic boost from expansion packs like OSDT. KZ2 will not even be a top 5 FPS shooter on the PS3 (CoD4, CoD5, CoD6 (later this year). Resistance 1 will/have been 'more' popular. Games like R6V3, and GRAW 3 will have close to or even better sales, and Halo 3 will likely outsell KZ2 from June 2009 onwards almost consistantly.
There is nothing wrong with KZ2, it just needs to compete with games like GRAW, R6V, CoD, Battlefield. It cannot compete with Halo (or even GoW) from a sales/popularlity point of view.
