Metal Gear Solid 4 - Best game this generation, so far. It also has Metal Gear Online included. Free online mulitplayer play.

Resident Evil 5 - probably one of your friends has it, and it's a blast to play online co-op (especially for free on the PS3)

If you like FPS get Killzone 2 and enjoy the heck out of it playing multiplayer online, for free.

Resistance 2 is also a great FPS. It owns other FPS like Halo 3, don't let anybody tell you different.

Careful with Valkyria Chronicles. I own it, I love it, BUT I also recognize it's not a game for everyone. It's a demanding game (read : it can get frustrating some times) and the story and drama are very japanese and anime like. Try it before you buy, watch some videos, video reviews, etc.

Street Fighter 4 if you're very into Street Fighter kind of games (read: you played old SF/Capcom fighters and you didn't suck) also enjoy it online for free.

Dead Space is a great game. It's worth the money.

Fallout 3. At least 100 hours of gameplay if you're into that.

Warhawk. If you love 3rd person shooting and multiplayer online (this game is only multiplayer and while it can be played offline with up to 3 other friends that's totally pointless. Get online for free and have a blast, it's an awesome game with 3 "booster packs" you can buy really cheap on the PS Store which add extra maps and vehicles. Worth every damn cent. The game is also available for just $20 on the Store)

1) MGS4 (Incase u have played previous MGSes and dont like it, k nvm i guess. If u dont have a clue whats its about GO GET IT I did and I loved it)
2) Killzone 2 (Like FPSes? Want a challenge?(Get use to the controlls). GET IT.

 I have halo 3 in my collectiuon because my little brother has a x360 but i rarely get the chance to play on the damn thing xD so thats why i was thinking wich one is a smarter move :p

I like the style of Valkyrie Chronicles but i'm not sure if ai like the gameplay is it similair to Fire emblem series or something like that ??

It's kind of like Metal Gear Acid, without the cards and dosen't suck. The art style is awesome, the story is awesome, the gameplay is awesome, made by Sega... AWESOME.

The only thing it lacks is Trophies. It would be the end all game, if it had it.

 I will buy a 80g model with Killzone 2 this friday
