Forums - PC - WoW Players - Case Study Questions for a Paper

Hey all, I'm writing a paper on the concept of video game addiction.  Just wondering if a few of you would mind answering some questions.  Hopefully I'm not out of place posting this here.  It'll be completely anonymous.  If you're not comfortable posting in public, just send me a message.  Please and thanks in advance!

1) Describe your most pathetic WoW experience:

First time I got hands on the beta. Did a all-nighter and was supposed to go on a trip with family next day. Mom sure had "wtf" kind of face when she woke up and saw me on PC.

2) Do you personally know anyone who is worse than you? Why would you say they are worse?

Of course, I don't even play anymore. So basicaly anyone that still plays. My account is still active though, because my brother still plays :)

3) Why do you play? Do you consider yourself "addicted"?  Why, or why not.

As I said, I don't play anymore. But back when I played, I did it for fun. I never really raided much (only MC and BWL back in the days) and mostly played with my friends. Addicted? I guess, first few months.

4) How many hours a week do you play?  Give a brief run-down of your weekly gaming schedule. (ie. Monday 7-11, Tuesday 5-10, etc.)

Again, but I'll just say how much I played. It was usually few hours a day (2-5), depending on schoolwork and my brother, we shared a PC so we had to exchange. Not really a lot compared to other WoW players... I think.

5) If you had to quit, what would you miss the most?

I already quit. But I don't really miss anything a lot. Maybe good old days of ganking/pvping with my classmate. That was pretty much only thing that I did last few months I played.
