Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits
it would have to be ToS: DotNW for me...I feel the previous characters were added just to so they could call it a sequel. But it was fun raising monsters and Emil on Ratatosk Mode always reminds me of Lelouch :P

Lost Odyssey. That game screams mediocracy... oh wait, it's so average that I'll say that the game speaks mediocracy with an average tone.
Very nice short stories though (I'm serious)...
I wanna say Legaia 2: Duel Saga, but it had a fun battle system, everything else was just blah.
So I'll go with Arc the Lad:Twilight of the Spirits

Nope. It wasn't 7th Saga. Good try though. I looked for the game in question using every seach-field I could think of and came back with nothing. |
Drakkhen?

Median is probably what you are looking for. Your average RPG could be nearly any convex combination of the RPGs you've played.

Nah, I'm looking for averagest. Like if you met a 45 year old white male, 180 pounds, 5'10'', has a mid-level management position at some business, wife, 2.13 kids, an obedient golden retriever; he tells decent jokes, he's kind of intelligent, sort of bland personality....you'd be all "Wow, that was the averagest guy I've ever met".
Sure it's not a real word, but everybody knows what I mean.
