The fantasy JRPG Record of Agarest War (アガレスト戦記) released in the 2007, which features an epic adventure taken place between five great continents, is now getting a sequel. The developers, Idea Factory (one of the big studios in Japan) rewinds the time line back to a thousand year before the current plot, and called the sequel Record of the Agarest War ZERO (アガレスト戦記ZERO)
The first game of the series was known for its unique system named the Soul Breed System. Players need to steal the heart from one of the many ladies around the protagonist. After doing that, they can peek into the “special” scenario (a key part of the game in my opinion) before they... you know... make their babies. The different DNA of the parents would give different traits for the new born character, and the new guy takes on the adventure until the game is cleared.
This sequel would bring an improved baby making system back with an entirely new story. While the new casts and new stories are highly anticipated by me, all I can see now are the banana eating girls and the cat ears, which was leaked as one of the “key events” of the story.
