Forums - Microsoft - ninja blade flop-review wise

When I watched the trailer, all I could think was, "wow. Haven't we seen this all before?".

Bummer that it flopped, but I can't say I was surprised about it, unfortunately. :|

Person 1: Does Valkyria Chronicles have trophies?
Person 2:  No.
Person 1: Forget it. I'm not buying it.
Person 2: Wait! It's amazing! Unique, charming, drop dead gorgeous... Hello?

A magazine ACTUALLY gave this game a 3/10? That's absolutely absurd, the demo was fantastic. I will be picking this game up despite those outlandish reviews. I've seen games FAR worse than Ninja Blade receive better ratings.

Sorry, rant over

I'll have to ask you how it is after you've finished it then.

IVe finished it and its the funnest 360 game of the year thus far. IF fun = best then Ninja Blade thus far is the best 360 game of 2009.

Thats right...more fun than halo wars and RE5... Anyone that has been gaming since the 8bit days will love this. If your first sytem was a ps1/ps2 (and you missed the dreamcast) then you may not like it.

Nice to hear, disolitude, will have to Gamefly it.

It looked promising but it seems it has too many QTE.

Play my LittleBigPlanet level: Mystic Runner. Thanks!

Id say 40% of the game is QTE...and they are really fun for once, and challenging on hard.

I have played several Ninja Gaiden games from beginning to end (including the most recent Ninja Gaiden 2) and I thought the Ninja Blade demo was superior to anything I had ever seen in a Ninja Gaiden game. I thought the action was more intense, the battle system was more fun, and the graphics were definitely in a different league. Yes, it was a 10 minute demo, so maybe the rest of the game sucks, but I can't imagine that being the case.

I personally tend to agree with IGN's reviews most of the time, so I will probably wait for their verdict before buying the game......but I really wanted this title to be an unquestionable day 1 purchase. Now I'm starting to doubt my first impressions about the game. Ah well, maybe I'll throw caution to the wind and buy it anyway.

Ninja Blade will be a great game to get in like a year when its cheap.

I KNEW this would flop

You should be beaten, burned to ashes then someone should throw your ashes from a plane

This game was never treated as a major exclusive. From Software really is not known for making AAA games.
