So the Conficker C worm, which has infected approx 10 million PC's, is set to activate on April 1st. The worm is coded to deactivate anti-spyware and begin accessing 50,000 websites, one of which will contain instructions on what to do next. These instructions could be malicious, such as wiping hard-drives or collecting private data.
Others speculate it may just be a massive April Fools joke. Although the French are apparently worried enough to ground some of their fighter planes. (The French have fighter planes??)
I'm hoping its a massive Rickroll, cuz the alternatives could be nasty. What do you guys think?
PS: If you guys know who wrote this thing, theres a $250,000 US reward.
