Forums - Gaming - Maybe Harmonix shouldn't have pissed off non-360 (&EU) owners... (esp. Wii)

Wasnt RB2 delayed on the other systems due to the agreement that MS and Harmonix had since MS was helping pay for the development

It came out on X360 first because of that yes.

Going by American releases:

RB1

20th Nov 2007 - PS3 and X360
18th Dec 2007 - PS2
22nd Jun 2008 - Wii

(In other words a month gap between HD twins and PS2, then a further 6 months until Wii)

RB2
14th Sep 2008 - X360
19th Oct 2008 - PS3
18th Nov 2008 - PS2
18th Dec 2008 - Wii

(In other words 1 month between each of the 4 versions, but Wii was again last, and still 4 months after X360)

--------

And for Europe:

RB1
23rd May 2008 - X360
12th Sep 2008 - PS2, PS3 and Wii

(3.5 month advantage for X360)

RB2
21st Nov 2008 - X360
27th Mar 2009 - PS2 and PS3 (just released today apparently)
24th April 2009 - Wii

(4 month advantage for X360 over PS consoles... and for some reason a further month for the Wii)

Is it any wonder the X360 versions are outperforming the others, in particular the Wii versions?

4 me, as long as they're fully functional:

GHWT Drums >>> RB2 Drums >>>>>> RB1 Drums >>>>>>>>> Rock Revolution Drums...

Rock Revolution was a joke, I haven't touched those pieces of 5#17.

Its interesting, because I hate the GH drums.  The cymbals feel so flimsy.

To be honest I don't know how any of you can play any of them.

Of all the videos I have seen, all I can hear is plastic clicking against plastic for either the drums or the strumming thing of the guitar... it sounds awful.

^^^ GHWT drums hardly make any sound, and none if you have a stereo...

Also, the click-strummer is preferred to the "squishy" RB one... But the GHWT Hybrid one is the best... I can actually pick it and I won't get a double-strum...

@TWRoO

When I play, unless its with friends, I usually wear a set of really nice headphones, that have noise canceling. So all I hear is the music and nothing else

^I've done that too... It's pretty cool... but then they broke... but I took them back and got some other ones that are better sound quality, more comfortable and durable, but aren't very good noise-cancelers... I haven't tried it with those yet though... Also, I remember the cord getting in the way...
