Let me get this straight. A console without exclusives has no games?



Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

Maybe 2009 will be the year of PS3 after all. I'd much rather they'd release a brand new kick ass game soon than concentre on so called exclusive DLCs.

Resident Evil 5, SF4, Star Ocean and Fear 2 were just released guys. The year is looking good enough without exclusive games from Microsoft.

bah, calm down. as others already said, please wait for the E3. and anyway you act like we didn't know Gears 2 was coming. sometimes there will be announcements, but remember, it's GAME DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE.

Think about last year. We did not even know Gears 2 was in development and it came out before Killzone 2. Give them some time I'm sure they are not just gonna stand back and watch.

  • Call of Duty World at War (>5 million)
  • Gears of War 2 (4.75 million)
  • Fable 2 (2.7 million)
  • Fallout 3 (2.25 million)
  • Left 4 Dead (> 2 million)

5 games - 3 Shooter, 2 RPGs, every title crossed 2 million.

This year

  • Modern Warfare 2
  • Halo ODST
  • Bioshock 2
  • Forza 3
  • Alan Wake
  • Splinter Cell

This is the line-up I can imagine right now, which looks great. There are probably 3 shooters, just like last year. Of course the userbase got bigger by 10-12 million by then, so I think we shouldn't worry about that.

 Metal Gear Solid is a Playstation game which is also a stealth shooter the same genre as Splinter Cell.

Splinter Cell is primarily a Microsoft exclusive game series on the XBox/X360/PC.

I guess we just look forward to their game announcements on June 1st at 1:30 PM EST during their E3 Press Conference. It's only 2 months away folks, and there isn't a shortage of games between now and then
