Looks like Friday is all the MS news huh (Lionhead, couple of MS Games studio talks)?

I wonder what OXM was referring to in that other thread...

Peter Molyneux (boss at Microsoft owned Lionhead, end of 2008): "Next year, well, it's all looking a bit dry," off the top of my head I cannot think of anything next year that really excites me. "

Don't shoot the messenger.

He was actually referring to the gaming industry as a whole in that quote.

I am not sure about that, he has probably far more in depth knowledge regarding what Microsoft and close partners (including his company) are working on, rather than knowing what other rival developers are cooking behind the scenes for 2009.

Otherwise the comment wouldn't make much sense, considering for example the PS3's stellar line-up.

Whilst the PS3's line-up is certainly solid, it is a stretch to call it's announced run of 2009 games "stellar."

This will be especially true if both GT5 and God of War 3 don't make 2009, in which case the PS3 line-up would start to look quite bland.

LMAO

Without GT5 or GoW 3, it still has a ways to go to become "great". Certainly not bland though, but not amazing or great. Great for the amount of games announced this early, good as a year lineup.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
