Sigma 2 To Have Online Co-op

Ninja Gaiden Σ 2 is the industry's worst-kept secret since Star Craft II, but it looks like Tecmo held back one or two choice tid-bits for their big GDC "secret game" announcement.

The bid ticket item is that Sigma 2 will feature online co-op over PlayStation Network. Gamers can pick from Ryu, Ayane or Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword's Momiji and play through the story together (not against each other).

That's the second "new" thing: you can play as Momiji, which won't mean much to anyone who didn't play Dragon Sword on the DS other than a fresh set of tits to stare at.

As for Sigma's last leading lady, Producer Yosuke Hayashi would only say: "Maybe you'll see her. She's a very important part of Team Ninja..."

Excellent news, however I may need someone to play it with still lol.

Did the original 2 support offline co-op and is there any news for that in this one? More likely to play through the game with a friend at home.

Oh lord, this game will be the most amazing action game EVER TO EXIST. I am PSYCHED FOR THIS :D

Wow, online co-op?

This game might be better then Heavenly sword and DMC4.

Im glad Itgaki left ever since he went south capcoms been playing nice with sony/ps3 now.

Agreed, and trust me, Ninja Gaiden 2 was at least 10x better then Sigma. This game is gonna be even better then NG2 without a doubt(unless Itagaki's leave effected it THAT much, but I doubt it.), so NGSigma2 is gonna be the best action game this gen by the time of its release. The only possible competitor for its crown will be GoW 3 in the future.

Well heavenly sword maybe, but DMC4 was pretty badass lol.

But as your Sig shows, GoW III will be the best hack N' slash this gen, unless Chaos Legion II is confirmed that is. then CL II > All other H n" S games this gen.

Awesome news, however I hope they "amp up" the difficulty considering you'll have two people whacking away at enemies, otherwise the game will be a tad easy with someone else.
