Your so biased its not even funny, folklore an exclusive isnt on your list, and you forgot Fallout3 as well as Monster kingdom.

1.) Folklore isn't an RPG:

Genre: Adventure http://ps3.ign.com/objects/826/826967.html

2.) Fallout 3 isn't released until March 08:

Release Date:
US: March 2008 http://ps3.ign.com/objects/901/901269.html

3.) Monster Kingdom is a PSP game... and a mediocre one at that.

4.) White Knight Story isn't released until 2008

Release Date:
US: TBA 2008
Japan: December 31, 2007 http://ps3.ign.com/objects/856/856638.html

5.) Read before trolling (both of you)

You do realize he's talking about US release dates and even the Japanese version doesn't have an official release date yet right?

-edit-
Bah, beaten and Naz even did a better job.

Puzzle Quest is comming to XBLA, should be within a month or so, I thuoght they said September

First time ever, I agree with Leo-j.... I think Folklore should be on that list... However NO to the rest :-p
either that or remove "Eye of Judgement" and "Puzzle Quest" those two games are not RPG's in my opinion. I would say your "sub-genre" is VERY MUCH their primary.

Also, why not Blue Dragon and Two Worlds, id consider August 24th and 28th a fall title..

Great post though

Dude, I'd give an arm up to get Fallout 3 this year, but unfortunately it ain't happening. It probably won't be here by March either. Folklore, to the best of my knowledge, isn't any more of an RPG than Zelda is. It'll be in the section for Action/Adventure.

Erm naznatips WKS is released in 07 in JPN so there for its an 07 title,Folklore might not be a full RPG but it does have RPG elements.Otherwise you should take HarvestMoon off the list because its classed as an Adventure,FFXI because its an MMO,PhantasyStarOnline because its a MMO and Puzzle Quest because its a puzzle game.

I agree about Puzzle Quest. It should be on the 360 list as an XBLA title.

Folklore isn't listed as an RPG anywhere. Examples:

Wikipedia: Action Adventure http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folklore_%28video_game%29

Gamespot: Fantasy Action Adventure http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/rpg/monstercarnival/index.html?tag=result;title;0

1UP: Action http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3150533

Eye of Judgement is iffy I agree.  Fall officially starts on September 23rd.  August titles are Summer.

Naz did you read the Wikipedia entry on Folklore or just post a link.

"Folklore, or FolksSoul in Japan (formerly Monster Kingdom: Unknown Realms, Unknown Realms) is a video game exclusively for the PlayStation 3 announced at E3 2006 which is told to be "The next generation of dark fantasy." The game is a real time action adventure game with RPG elements, in the same vein as Genji and Devil May Cry. The game stars a young blonde girl named Ellen, and a journalist named Keats. Together they must fight the monsters known as the "Folk" and weaken and capture their souls."

I'm sorry, but can you read the word "fall?"  Because if you can, this is pretty sad considering it's right in the freaking title. These are all American release dates anyway.  We are talking about American games.  Very few people here can/do play Japanese import games.

I agree that Puzzle Quest, Harvest Moon, FFXI, and PSO are iffy though.  Although FFXI and PSO are MMORPGs, they are rarely enjoyed by the same audiences as regular RPGs.

Yes, RPG elements does not an RPG make.  Resident Evil 4 has RPG elements, and is listed as such on the Wiki page.  You want to tell me that it's an RPG?  I just gave you links to 4 different major locations listing the title as action or adventure (or both), but NEVER as an RPG.  It's simply not an RPG.  Puzzle Quest is at least debatably one.
