The Sega Saturn. I have put more hours of gaming on this machine than any of the others bye far.

Are we supposed to take backwards compatibility into account here? Like I can take my PS3 and give it credit for three differernt consoles worth of games, but ultimately I know I played those games on their respective consoles when they were fresh and not years later on a B/C PS3. Under the same notion I could say the Wii is the best based on the Virtual Console, which is godly retro gaming goodness, but I know my experiences with those games are entwined with their original consoles and not the Virtual Console.
Judging a console strictly by it's own original lineup, I'll say Nintendo DS. If I can't count the DS because it's a handheld, then I choose Super Nintendo.

bet with *no one yet* that the combined first week of Monster Hunter 3 in america and europe will be 600k or more! winner changes looser sig and avatar for two months!
PS2 still holds the title for me, 360 is closing fast, Wii and PS3 have a shot depending on how things go over the next 2-3 years
Judging purely by the fun I had at the time N64 is #1 for me. The sheer wow factor the first time I saw Mario 64 has never been matched for me. It was such a leap beyond anything else at the time. #2 is definitely my PS3. #3 is a tie between the SNES and the Dreamcast.
BTW, I'm really proud of everyone who's responded so far because nobody has drank the kool-aid and said Wii. The Wii is near the bottom of the list for me. I would have sold it long ago if not for my son liking it.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.
