Daft Punk. Aren't they French or something?
Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't see how that answers my question. I asked what aspect of their music is performed live. How is an album going to explain it to me?

...Because it's a recording of their one of their live performances from their 2007 tour?

Hence the, you know, Alive 2007 name. I thought it was kind of self-explanatorily a live album.

I'm referring to what the two guys from Daft Punk actually do during their shows. Do they play instruments? Press buttons on a machine? Use keyboards? Sing through voice modifiers? Work turntables? An album is not going to explain that to me. They make electonica music. It's not as self explanatory as to what they do live as opposed to other forms of music like rock or R&B.
Woo! Life's getting awesome! I mean this, and the strong rumours that Deadmau5 and Tiesto (dont like him much tho) are doing a gig in Belfast in May! Now all I need is some Armin Van Buuren Love :)

DJ Act, 90% of a gig is them just playing their music and dancing along to it if you know what I mean. The other 10% is technical know how and effects that they do live
^ well at least thats what i presume. Ive seen pics of them on google playing instruments though so Im not 100%.

The only reason I pointed you towards the album is because their sound/songs undergo a significant change live: songs are diced, chopped up, rearranged, smoothly segued into each other; they balance this so perfectly with keeping the songs' original aesthetic impact that they really do have a dramatically altered sound live.
Here's an interview with DP from 2007. It describes exactly what and how much they do live, their philosoph on touring, and a few other things. It's a pretty short read and very interesting; I gained a tremendous respect for them after reading it (and a renewed urge to see them live the instant they go on tour again).

Can't wait! One of the very few acts i'd pay above what is reasonable, to see live.
Also looking forward to Daft Punk in 3D for the Tron project and wouldn't be surprised to see them announce some sort of 3D element to their live set.
Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.
Patiently waiting for: Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2
