Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy question (3 questions acutally)

Well, most JRPG fans I know agree that the best JRPGs are in the past generations. So if you're not willing to go back, even if you do get into this genre (and by looking at your game collection, I doubt you will), you won't be experiencing the true gems it has to offer.

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

Most JRPG fans are relentlessly xenophobic and esoteric in their tastes, just like hardcore fans of any genre.

He'll find gems if he digs around, and the fact that he's willing to explore outside of his normal areas of interest is to be lauded. He may be discovering a whole new kind of experience he never knew he liked.

Sorry, I just looked at your collection.

Why don't you try Lost Odyssey? Lots of fun to be had there and it's one of the morre highly praised JRPGs of the generation.

 Just saw some gameplay

Is it me or is nearly every JRPG filled with magic and weird little creatures?

Yep, they sure are. Well, most of them.

Do you have a DS?

 No. Only a PS3, PSP, and 360

All right, definitely look into Lost Odyssey, or maybe Blue Dragon. Do you like anime?

 anime? I don't hate but I don't like it

Favorite films. Foreign films forever!

How far back should I go?

Eh, it's not very important.

Yeah, from what I've seen I recommend Lost Odyssey. I have a copy myself but haven't really gotten a chance to jump in headfirst yet.

Eh, saw some gameplay and thought it looked stupid but I'll give it a shot. How's the story. Emotional?

It's about a guy sentenced to live for a thousand years, so he can't die and has to watch the world change around him while losing all the people he loves.

I hear tell it's pretty emotional.

What looked stupid about it? If it was the gameplay, you might want to try Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSP. That's more strategy style.

@ chris1_16

Here is some gameplay from Tales of Vesperia

This game is amazing. If you want to know how i feel about this game read my sig.
